FUNCTION:
Dispels pathogenic wind cold, transforms phlegm fluid, warms the lung, descends qi, stops cough. Use for pathogenic wind cold entering the lungs, causing copious white phlegm fluid, stuffy or unny nose, and labored breathing. There may be accompanying exterior syndrome symptoms of chills, aches, and heaviness of the body. Useful in common cold, influenza, bronchitis, emphysema, and chronic asthma. Also useful in pollen allergies.
