A True Story of Lin Sister
Lin Sisters was founded in 1986 by two sisters, Susan and Jane. Upon their arrival in 1980s’ New York City as poor young immigrants, the sisters often found themselves turning to their knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to heal themselves in times of illness. Recognizing the need for TCM within the growing Chinese community, the sisters decided to open Lin Sisters herb shop. As demand for their services continued to grow, their brother Frank also joined as a clinician shortly thereafter.
Today, the shop offers a wide array of products and services, including acupuncture and herbal consultations, and even offer its own proprietary brand of tea blends. After 30 years of service to the community, the shop continues to be family owned and operated to this very day.
