Meridian: Lung and stomach

Function: used externally as gargles to clear pathogenic heat and toxins. Used internally as expectorant to clear the heat in the lung. Ulcers of the mouth, acute tonsillitis, obstruction of bone in the throat, cough with thick sputum and hoarse voice.

Dosage: 3-6 gm.
