Common name: bamoboo shaving

function: to clear the phlegm and irritability caused by heat in the lung, to clear the heat in the stomach and stop vomiting. Used for pulmonary infections with cough, vomiting, and chronic gastritis.

Therpeutic meridian: lung, stomach and gallbladder

taste and property: sweet, slightly cold.

Contra-indication: for a person with cough caused by cold; or with diarrhea caused by spleen asthenia.

Dosage: 6-9 gm.
