Function:

Anthelmintic with purgative action, Diuretic, to remove the stagnation of food, to invigorate the circulation of Qi. Use for taeniasis, ascariasis, fasciolopsiasis, edema, constipation, abdominal distention, tenesmus in dysentery.

Therapeutic Meridian: Stomach, large intestine.

Taste and Property: Pngent, bitter, warm

Contra-indication: for a person with asthenia and downward sinking of Qi of the middle burner.

Dosage: 6-15 gm.
