Properties and Taste: Sour, astringent and neutral

Meridians: Kidney, urinary bladder and large intestine

Functions: To control the essence. To astringe the intestines and stop diarrhea. To decrease urination. Deficiency of the kidneys manifested as seminal emission, nocturnal enuresis or leukorrhagia. Chronic diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen.

Dosage: 6-18 g
