Therapeutic Meridian: Stomach, lung and large intestine
Action:
1. To eliminate heat and toxin
2. To moisten the lung
3. To clear the throat and eyes

Indication:
1. Dry cough with no sputum
2. Inflammation of the throat with voice hoarseness
3. Tonsillitis

Recommended Dosage: 3-6 gm.
Pharm. Action:
1. Purgative – increase the bulk in the intestine, forming mechanical stimuli and increase of peristalsis.
2. Lower blood pressure
3. Diuretic
