Function:

Dispels wind-dampness and unblocks the channels: for wind-cold-damp painful obstruction with such symptons as stiff joints, lower back pain, sore knees, and cramping of the muscles and sinews. Also for pain due to trauma. Disperse cold and alleviates pain: for epigasric and abdominal pain and diarrhea due to cold invading the Spleen and Stomach.

Futoxide, futonenone, futoquinol, futoamide, sitosterol, stigmasterol, pinene, limonene, sabinese, camphene, isoasarone

　　本品为胡椒科植物风藤Piper kadsura（Choisy）Ohwi. 的干燥藤茎。夏、秋二季采割，除去根、叶，晒干。
　　【性状】本品呈扁圆柱形，微弯曲，长15～60cm，直径0.3～2cm。表面灰褐色或褐色，粗糙，有纵向棱状纹理及明显的节。节间长3～12cm，节问膨大，上生不定根。体轻，质脆，易折断，断面不整齐，皮部窄，木部宽广，灰黄色，导管孔多数，射线灰白色，放射状排列，皮部与木部交界处常有裂隙，中心有灰褐色髓。气香，味微苦、辛。
　　【性味与归经】辛、苦，微温。归肝经。
　　【功能与主治】祛风温，通经络，止痹痛。用于风寒湿痹，肢节疼痛，筋脉拘挛，屈伸不利。
　　【用法与用量】6～12g。
　　【贮藏】置通风干燥处。
