Function #Clear heat and relieve inflammation and fever due to fire poison
Indication: #Use to treat serious tonsillitis and pharyngitis with throat swelling and pain associated with fire poison. Pus may be present. #Use to treat skin infections such as carbuncles and sores. #Use to treat mastitis.
Contraindication: Do not use with pregnant women. A nursing mother may use it, but it may cause some diarrhea in the baby.
Dosage Internal Use: Adults: 10 pills, 2 or 3 times a day. Children under 5 yrs: Use one-quarter the adult dose. Children over 5 yrs: Use one half the adult dose, or less.External Use: Use externally for carbuncles and sores. Crush the pills into powder form and use directly as a powder or mix with a small amount of vinegar, and place on the sore; cover with a sterile dressing. Apply once a day.
