To eliminate pathogenic heat, to dispel wind and dampness. Use for scabies, rubella and skin disease, jaundice, arthralgia due to wind and cold.

Taste and Property: Bitter and cold

Therapeutic Meridian: Spleen and stomach

Contra-indication: For a person with cold symptoms in the abdomen caused by deficiency of Qi
