Function:

Diuretic, Cholagogue, to reduce blood sugar, hemostatic, and anti-hypertensive. Used for acute and chronic nephritic edema, hepatic cirrhosis, icteric hepatitis, cholecystitis, diabetic mellitus, bleeding from the gum and nose, and hypertension.

Taste and Property: Sweet and neutral

Therapeutic Meridian: liver, gallbladder, urinary bladder

Dosage: 15-30 gm.
