FUNCTIONS:
Eliminate Wind-Dampness, stop pain, nourish blood and Qi, strengthen liver and kidney. Tonifies blood, strengthens tendon and bone. Use to treat pain and coldness in the lumbar area or legs or joints; tremor may be present; joint stiffness and numbness; fatigue; feeling of cold. The Tongue may be pale, with a thin, white Tongue coat. The Pulse may be thin, weak or empty. Some western medicine disease applications include the following: Chronic Arthritis; sciatica.
