action:
1. Astringent
2. Hemostatic – increase the thrombocyte count, promote the conagulation of blood, and shorten the bleeding time.
3. Increase blood pressure – because of the cardiotonic action, and the contriction of peripheral blood vessels.
4. Detoxicant
5. Anti-fungal, anti-parasitic. It can inhibit the growth of malaria, tapeworm and trichomonas.

indication:
1. Epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematuria, coughing and spitting blood, uterine bleeding, and all kinds of hemorrhage.
2. Boils and carbuncles
3. Trichomonas vaginitis, malaria dysentery.

contra-indication: for a person with symptoms of pathogenic heat and excess fire
chemical component: agrimonine, agrimonolide, tannin, vitamin k, luteolin-7-glucoside, apigenin-7-b-glucoside.
recommended dosage: 10-15 gm.
